Itinerary: Day 1. Almaty Arrival to Almaty, meeting at the airport. Transfer to Hotel "Otrar" **** Day 2. Almaty After breakfast city tour with wooden church and panoramic view point. About 50 km. O/N Hotel “Otrar” Day 3. Almaty – Bishkek (250 km) A.m. by bus to Bishkek, it takes 4-5 hours, pm s/s Bishkek, Panfilov-park with national museum. Evening dinner with music group Kambarkam. Over night stay in hotel "Ak-Keme" **** Day 4. Bishkek-Ala-Archa – Bishkek (40 km) Drive to Ala-Archa gorge, Walking along the gorge and have picnic lunch there. The wide beautiful valley of the Ala Archa river sweeps up to the Highest peaks and largest glaciers of the Kyrgyz Alatau range. To protect its tremendous natural diversity it was made a national park in 1976. The valleys steep wooded slopes, pristine water meadows and craggy cliffs provide habitats for over 170 animal species, including eagles, shy Marco Polo sheep, bear, lynx, wild boar, wolves and, in its upper reaches, rarely spotted snow leopards. Its also supports over 800 plant species a dream-come true in Spring for alpine flower enthusiasts. Ala-Archa is the National Park; it is situated Day 5. Bishkek – Issyk-Kul lake (250km) Drive to the lake Issyk-Kul. On the way visit Burana Tower (15c) and Petrogliphs in Cholpon-Ata. Hotel Korona*** Day 6. Cholpon-Ata – Karakol (150km) Drive from Cholpon-Ata to Karakol (150km), have night in Karakol. Visit Dungan mosque and Russian Othodoz church, bazaar, Prjevalski museum. Guest House. Day 7. Karakol-Jety-Oguz gorge - Karakol ( Walking along the gorge and have picnik lunch there. The Alpine health resort Djety-Oguz lies near the river at the altitude of 2200m.Situated in a picturesque canyon on the Northern slope of the Terskey Ala-Too range about25 km South West of Karakol. It is a lovely place for one day walk and at the same time for many day treks, starting from easy form and up to the hardest. It is the place where you can see the real life of Kyrgyz people. Back to Karakol. Guest House. Day 8. Karakol – Naryn (350km) Drive to Naryn, it takes over 6 hours. On the way visit Kochkor village. The town is best known for its handy craft masters, who are making the best national souvenirs and carpets (Shyrdaks) in whole Kyrgyzstan. Lunch in Kyrgyz stile, in the yurt.
